Level the playing field

Put a tool on the home page of the DOE open government site, or on the DOE home page. Tool should list ALL contacts between senior DOE executives and any lobbyist, company executive, trade group, or other person/entity representing the interests of corporations or groups of corporations. Tool should indicate what was talked about, and details of the discussions should be made public via hotlinks. It is government of the people, BY the people. No conversation between a government official and a lobbyist should ever be private!

This will level the playing field by allowing private citizens to see what kinds of access corporations and lobbyists have, and the sorts of discussions taking place. Citizens should also have a place within this tool to respond to what they are seeing, and senior DOE executives should be required to take citizen input into account and post their eventual decisions so that citizens can see each eventual outcome.
